Auckland, New ZealandResidential · Commercial · Civil
House sites, lifestyle blocks, commercial yards and civil packages: we dig, shape and drain Auckland ground properly, with council requirements in mind.
Ground that’s ready to build on
A build only goes as well as the ground under it. We read the site first, then shape it to the design levels with the right machines and operators who know heavy clay and basalt.
Whether it’s a pool dig behind a narrow driveway or bulk excavation in Auckland, we work out the way in, where the spoil goes, how water drains, how the site stays safe and who comes in after us.
Being an Auckland Earthwork Contractor means we stand behind the levels, the soil we uncover and the site we hand back, not just the time the digger was running.
How we work →Where most jobs begin
These four services handle the early decisions on most jobs: getting the site open, digging it out, controlling water and bringing in the right machine.

Machine plus operator, sized to the job Explore service →Everything in the ground
We price clearing, digging, drains, cartage and finished grades together, so one crew owns the levels and access instead of passing them down a chain of contractors.
From the first clear-out and knock-down to the last trim, we hand over tidy ground the next trade can start on.
Digs cut to line and level, whether it’s a house pad, footings, a pool or a large bulk earthmoving job.
Stormwater set-ups that suit the soil, the access and the site, and keep doing their job long after we leave.
Trenches, subgrade, levels and service runs, organised so each stage lines up with the crew that follows.
Machines hired out with an experienced operator and the right attachments, whether the site is wide open or tight.
Larger-scale earthworks and sediment control, planned with council requirements in view and recorded clearly.

Why crews and clients stick with us
Digging is the easy bit. Before a machine turns up, we have already sorted the way in, the levels, the spoil, the water, site safety and who follows us.

Our fleet
Excavators, mini diggers, bobcats, tip trucks and iDig machine guidance, chosen for the way in, the soil underfoot and how much needs to move.
Explore plant hire ↗Small sections to big sites
The machines, paperwork and site controls grow with the job. How carefully we set out, dig and hand over stays exactly the same.
Small machines for narrow sections, with lawns, paths and the neighbours’ boundaries looked after.
Groundwork that fits the build programme, the site entry and the other contractors on site.
Bigger earthmoving scopes run in a set order, with levels and sediment controls checked as we go.

These are illustrative images, not client jobs. They show the sort of access, prep and pipework each service involves, and the standard of finish we aim to leave behind.

How a job runs
Whatever the size, the job runs in the same four stages, so you know what’s agreed, what’s written down and what to expect when the diggers arrive.
Before pricing, we go over the plans, the way in, existing levels, the soil, buried services and what you need at the end.

Outcome Ground ready for the next tradeCustomer reviews
How we handle reviewsA review only means something if a real customer wrote it about a real job. We’ll post checked reviews here as they come in, and we won’t make up star ratings, tweak what people said or pad this space with nameless quotes.
Every review links back to an actual customer or a recognised review site.
Where the customer is happy for us to, we say which service and what work it covered.
We never publish a name, suburb or job detail without the customer’s go-ahead.

Common questions
A few straight answers save a lot of back and forth. These come up on nearly every enquiry.
We work right across metropolitan Auckland, and regional or rural jobs can be looked at case by case. Include your suburb when you ask for a quote and we’ll confirm whether we can help.
Not always. Simpler jobs can often be priced from plans and photos, but sites with awkward access or a complicated scope are usually worth a visit first.
It depends on Auckland Council’s rules, your property and the scope of the job. Check what applies before anything starts—we can help you work out what to ask the council.
We cover residential, rural, commercial and civil work. Whether a particular job suits us comes down to access, programme, the plant needed and the confirmed scope.
Suitable spoil can stay on site to be reused or spread; otherwise we arrange proper cartage and disposal. Whatever we agree on is written into your quote.
Yes, our hire is wet hire with an operator. When you ask for a quote, tell us the machine, attachments, site access and the task involved.
Service plans and on-site locating need sorting before any digging, starting with a beforeUdig request. The right locating method depends on the site and the asset owner.
Send the site address, plans or rough dimensions, access width, a few photos, when you’d like the work done and whether spoil can stay on site.
Yes. We handle residential, rural, commercial and civil enquiries, and pick the plant and method to suit each job.
Clear the agreed access route, point out any known services or hazards, and sort any protection or neighbour-access arrangements. We’ll run through job-specific prep with you before we mobilise.
