Our own machines, ready to go
Excavators, bobcats, tip trucks and compactors are already in the yard, so a job isn’t left waiting for a subbie or a hired-in machine to turn up. That keeps the work moving and the programme intact.
Our work
A look at the kinds of earthworks we handle for homeowners, businesses and civil clients all over Auckland.
Sorted by type of work
The pictures below are illustrations, not photos of customers’ properties. They’re sorted by type of job so you can get a feel for the ground, the machines and the finish behind each part of our full earthworks capability.
Big or small, Auckland Earthworks Projects all start with the kind of ground planning shown in these categories.

Why use us
Our own gear, work done to council and engineering requirements, and a crew that knows local ground, whatever size the job.
Excavators, bobcats, tip trucks and compactors are already in the yard, so a job isn’t left waiting for a subbie or a hired-in machine to turn up. That keeps the work moving and the programme intact.
We work to the Auckland Council conditions and engineering specifications that apply to your site, which helps you avoid failed inspections, gaps in the paperwork and expensive fixes later on.
A small backyard prep and a subdivision-sized earthworks package get the same crew and the same care. The plant scales to the job, so you deal with one contractor however big it gets.
Sticky clay, buried basalt, steep sections and patchy fill are normal here. Working in it every day means fewer nasty surprises once we dig and a more realistic price from the outset.
What sits behind each picture
Each category in the gallery has its own set of services. Follow a link to see the work and the machines involved.
Job sizes
Bigger jobs bring bigger machines and more paperwork. How we set out the ground and hand it back stays exactly the same.
Where we dig
We cover the wider Auckland metro area. Put your suburb in the quote form and we’ll check we can get there before booking anything in.
Coming in, going out
Material is where an earthworks price is won or lost. What gets dug out, what gets brought back in and who carts the surplus are all separate services we can handle.
What every job includes
Real project photos will come later. In the meantime, here’s what every job we do includes, big or small.
What’s included, what isn’t and what the price relies on, sent to you before anything is booked.
Finished heights checked against your drawings or survey, never judged by eye.
Whether dug material stays, gets spread or is carted away is decided in writing, not on the day.
We go over levels, drain falls, the way in and the tidy-up together before the plant leaves.
Frequently Asked Questions
We cover residential, rural, commercial and civil work. Whether a particular job suits us comes down to access, programme, the plant needed and the confirmed scope.
Suitable spoil can stay on site to be reused or spread; otherwise we arrange proper cartage and disposal. Whatever we agree on is written into your quote.
Clear the agreed access route, point out any known services or hazards, and sort any protection or neighbour-access arrangements. We’ll run through job-specific prep with you before we mobilise.
We work right across metropolitan Auckland, and regional or rural jobs can be looked at case by case. Include your suburb when you ask for a quote and we’ll confirm whether we can help.
